Art in Translation is presented by the Art Association of Jackson Hole in collaboration with Center for the Arts. This video captures the program and exhibition as well as the importance of it in the Jackson Hole community. This first series of programming planned by the Art Association of Jackson Hole to engage with our Latino community in meaningful art education that helps to span cultural differences and facilitates a conversation surrounding our sharing experiences of living and working in our valley. In collaboration with Teton County residents, these artists’ pieces serve as a bridge to help explore the tension and dissonance around the varied meanings of home, language and identity through the lens of the valley’s Latino community.
