Horse Thief Forest Fire in Jackson

If you live in Jackson, you’ve heard the planes, helicopters, fire trucks dashing by and seen the plumes of smoke filling the skies. The Horse Thief forest fire in Jackson, Wy began last Saturday, Sept. 8th, 2012 just five miles south of town. The fire spread quickly into Bridger-Teton National Park near Snow King Resort.  We have had evacuation advisories in place for the past few days, but no evacuation yet.

Thanks again to the hardworking firefighters that have shown extreme determination to protect all of us from this forest fire!
