EXTRA EXTRA: Gliffen Designs moves yet again! Owner, AJ Best, claims Gliffen Designs is not in fact a nomadic tribe and plans to be at the new location indefinitely or at least until the end of the week, but most likely indefinitely. The troops, er the employees, were called into action and boxes were filled, desks were cleared, dogs were rounded up, and we began the arduous task of moving an entire design firm a whopping 60 feet to a new office. Seriously, I just walked it off and measured it. If we rented a moving van we could have loaded it up and then done a 3 point turn and simply parked it the opposite way to unload it. We are that close! But hey the new space is great and even has separate offices. Sure, the employees are going to go through some serious separation anxiety being sectioned off from another, but they’re a tough bunch and will persevere and start cranking out the fabulous creative work they are known for.

As you remember our last office was close to The Bird, and somehow we have managed to move yet even closer to that fine establishment. Yeah I guess you could say we like that place, who doesn’t? If we were any closer we’d be in the kitchen or the bar, which wouldn’t be so bad either. We still have the old empty office for a few more days. Possible suggested uses so far are to have an epic dodge ball tournament, host the first annual office Olympics, or have a free skate sesh (skateboards, roller skates, big wheels, whatever you got) on the smooth hardwood floors of the old joint. We’re up for suggestions. In the meantime come visit us as at the new digs… before we move again.
