The Front End Developer position is an integral part of the Gliffen team. They will be responsible for working with the graphic design department and project manager to bring the web design vision to life while adding their own flare of interactivity to the websites they work on. The individual should be detail oriented, creative and resourceful. They should be comfortable with learning new technologies and methodologies to keep up with the ever evolving web world.
Website Content Layout: In addition to building out the overall theme this individual will be responsible for laying out the individual pages of the website. This includes working through the target site map to generate all of the pages of the site, place the content and be able to create compelling designs using the wordpress editor and their own theme customizations.
Website Security Testing: The WordPress Developer will be responsible for running regular testing and updates of the wordpress sites that Gliffen hosts. This will include running various scans and analyzing the results for any anomalies as well as running through a checklist of tasks completed for each site on a monthly or quarterly basis.
The WordPress/Front End Developer is a full time hourly position. The starting rate for this position will be $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience. The employee will be eligible for all annual and quarterly bonus structures as well as all other company benefits. Hours & Billing: The WordPress/Front End Developer is a full time production level staff member and is expected to work a minimum of 35-40 hours per week. The employee should be able to maintain a minimum of 70% billable hours to the client in any calendar quarter. The employee may be needed for overtime work hours from time to time to keep up with client demand.
